Consecutive decades of leadership and success

The sense of leadership and providing the best services was the main drive for this journey which started almost four decades ago in 1973. Since the establishment of a Al Hussain Optical Lenses Factory, it has been one of the first factories in the region to meet all the needs of the region by incorporation the latest manufacturing techniques and utilizing the most advanced equipments, as well as providing the best brands of eyeglasses and sunglasses and contact lenses catering to all styles and budgets. Followed by this success, Al Hussain & Al Afaliq Group was founded in 1976, which is now considered one of the largest multi-disciplinary groups in the region.

Al Hussein & Al Afaliq ReadyMix (HACO) was founded as the first establishment from the group, being also the first ReadyMix and Blocks manufacturers in Al Ahsa and the surrounding region. Increased production capability from 50 cubic meter per hour in 1976 to 800 cubic meter per hour at present time had made HACO the pioneer and leading supplier of high quality Ready Mix concrete, Masonry and Insulated Blocks, and aggregate, and For more than three decades, HACO maintained to be the Approved Vendor of SAUDI ARAMCO, Saudi Electricity Company SEC, and the Ministry of Communications in the area, as well as playing a major role in the construction and development  of the Eastern Region, with 10 HACO branches and growing, the company covers one third of the Kingdom with ongoing plans of expansion.

Moreover, the group established and mobilized its first automatic bakery in the Eastern Province in 1977 under the name Al Ahsa Automatic Bakeries for the mass production of all kinds of baked products and sweets, and the recently updated production lines has enabled the increase of the distribution area to include the whole of the GCC and Saudi Arabian regions under the new brand name “Fuchsia”.

The groups next venture was the establishment of the first Cold Storage units in Al Ahsa in 1979, with storage capacity of over 2000 metric tons and a fleet of cars equipped with the latest refrigeration equipment to aid the distribution of the many brands distributed exclusively in the Kingdom by Al Ahsa Cold Storage such as the Castania Nuts brand.

Given the keenness best services for the people of Al Ahsa , Al Ahsa Shopping Malls company was founded in 1981 to join the rest of the, catering to the consumers in the region by providing commercial stores, restaurants, recreation centers, and supermarkets. The following year, Al Ahsa Plastic Factory was founded in 1982 and which was characterized since its inception to produce the best types of polythene, and polypropylene mono, and environment friendly plastic products for their active role in the preservation of the environment.

The next group’s venture was the establishment of the first five star hotel in the region, Al Ahsa Intercontinental, providing the most luxurious hotel accommodation, restaurants, and recreational facilities in the region, as well as the best levels of service and comfort.The hotel contains the largest conference and marriages hall in the Middle East. And in 2009, the first branches of the Lily Hotel Suites in Al Ahsa opened its doors, created in compliance with the best standards and comfort, and have since expanded by opening other branches in the eastern region.

And the path of leadership and success continues in establishing Jawatha Private Schools in 2008, which of a campus of 12 buildings covering all grades from Kindergarten, to Elementary, Middle and Secondary schools, for boys and girls equipped with the latest educational technologies in order to provide the best learning environment for students, as well as English and Computer labs equipped with the latest technologies, and a gymnasium for each of the boys, and the girls schools. The campus also houses a theater equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment, which was adopted by the Department of Education to host concerts, conferences and meetings from around the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In order to further improve and develop the quality of education, Jawatha Schools is pursuing the acknowledgment and accreditation from the International Accreditation Body and has signed an agreement with Advanced ED, an auditing organization which will overlook the development of the schools in accordance with the international standards to ensure the the consistency of quality, as well as to guarantee the highest provision of education outcomes for the students, which in return will prepare the students in pursuit of enrollment in Universities, without the need for additional post-school preparation courses and tests.
